Birds Australia
Birds Australia is a conservation non-profit organisation with extensive member and volunteer networks. We work to preserve and protect Australia�s native birds and the habitats that sustain them through research, action, education and engagement. Our motto is conservation through knowledge, and as Australia�s oldest national conservation organisation, we have been a voice for Australia�s birds for over a century. We focus on birds as key measures of environmental health, and participate in projects at local, regional and international levels. Using best-practice science, we monitor birds then apply our findings through practical on-ground activity. The information generated is then shared, enabling all interested stakeholders to make better decisions that result in positive and sustainable conservation outcomes.
