Churches of Christ Care (Care), a leading not-for-profit provider of residential and community services in Queensland, provides essential services to more than 35,000 people in need each year.
Initially established in 1930 to provide food and clothing for people affected by the Great Depression, today Care owns and operates 125 services in urban, rural and remote Queensland, supported by approximately 1800 staff, and a network of more than 500 dedicated volunteers.
Care is active in the areas of aged care, early childhood services, housing and welfare services, and is the largest non-government provider of foster care in Queensland.
