Aussie Helpers is a non profit registered charity fully operated by twenty five unpaid volunteers who since May 2002 have assisted over one thousand farming families in Queensland and NSW. Families have been assisted in varying ways such as with general food, personal hygiene items, toys and Christmas gifts as well as truck loads of stock fodder for starving stock.All done with personal visits to the properties by an Aussie Helpers

Aussie Helpers travel over 100,000 km per year to assist farming families suffering terribly from the worst drought in over 100 years. The main problems that this prolonged drought has caused are

* Loss of breeding stock
* High incidence of depression
* The tragedy of suicides
* Families financially crippled
* Family break ups
