Alzheimer's Australia NSW

 This organisation accepts volunteer labour

Alzheimer's Australia NSW is a rapidly growing non-profit community based organisation that assists people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, their families and carers. Its services are free to the public and include Helpsheets covering all aspects of dementia care; information sessions and education programs; support groups; counselling services; and an extensive reference library.

Alzheimer's Australia NSW estimates that the total number of people living with dementia will rise by 65% in the next two decades. As there is still no prevention or cure, there is an increasing need for understanding, support and high quality care for people living with dementia.

Community support through donations and sponsorship, as well as bequests, is vital to the continuation and growth of the work of Alzheimer's Australia NSW. Donations to Alzheimer's Australia NSW are tax deductible.
