Cystic Fibrosis Victoria provides information, advocacy and support
services to children, young people and adults with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and
their carers, and to promote research and enhance public understanding of
the disorder.

Was founded in 1974 and became an Incorporated Association in 1984.

Is governed by a State Council composed of representatives of people from
the CF community and others with particular expertise in promoting the
cause of CF.

Provides advocacy, support and information services to people living with CF and their families.

Conducts awareness programs for the general public.

Fundraises to support service provision to families and adults living with CF and to promote CF research.

Is a not-for-profit charitable organisation which relies heavily upon the generosity of the Victorian public as well as private philanthropic
sources. 20% of income is provided by the Victorian Government's Department
of Human Services.
