Latter Rain MISSIONS Ministry Life Centre

Latter Rain Missions Ministry was founded in January 1993 to reach out to those in need.

We have a desire to reach out and help the poor and needy .

Free Food for families, single parents, elderly, homeless, drug effected, youth and
anyone else in need, is available through our outreachs.

The Soup Kitchen Outreach was first established in January 1993 to help meet the urgent need we have on the Gold Coast.

1993 The first evangelistic soup kitchen outreach was opened at Kurrawa Surf Life Savings Club where we saw many people receiving salvation. Praise GOD.

1993 In July we shifted to Mermaid Beach Community Centre where we operated 5 days a week. Over the years we saw countless people receive salvation. All praise be to GOD.

1995 The Mermaid Beach operation was handed over to another ministry and is still operating.
Currumbin Church and outreach was established for Latter Rain Missions Ministry in September 1995.

1999 In June of 1999, with the support of Deputy Mayor Colin Kleinschmidt a second outreach opened at the Nerang Neighbourhood House, a free food service was set up.

2001 In July of 2001, we were given free use of the old McDonalds building at 2500 Gold Coast Hwy, Mermaid Beach. Latter Rain Missions church and outreach operated to feed the needy spirit, soul and body for several years until it was redeveloped into the current tavern.

2003 Mr Barry Sheen gave us free use of his building in Nerang until it was sold after his death.

2004 2006 Dreamcenter made available free of charge its youth outreach center for our feeding outreach until a fire closed it.

From 2004 to 2012 we have been ministering at various churches and locations around Queensland. Praise GOD for HIS Grace and a faithful team supporting us day one.

Since 1993, we have been blessed to have the help and assistance from many committed local businesses, individuals and national companies.
We praise GOD for touching the hearts of these people.
