Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW Inc

People with schizophrenia and their carers came together in 1985 to form the Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW Inc. The Fellowship works to improve the quality of life of people living with schizophrenia and associated mental illnesses by:

Initiating and undertaking programs that support consumers, carers and health professionals;

Raising community awareness of the implications of schizophrenia and associated mental illnesses in order to reduce stigma;

Lobbying government departments to promote the well being of people living with schizophrenia and associated mental illnesses;

Supporting research into schizophrenia and associated mental illnesses.
