Autism Association of South Australia Inc.
The Autism Association of SA Inc. provides essential services to individuals and with autism spectrum disorder and their families to assist them to participate fully in all of life's opportunities.
Services include diagnostic, early intervention, child, adult and counselling and we currently have over 980 families on our books. We also provide an extensive resource centre for clients and families to make use of.
Autism spectrum disorders occur in three in one thousand births and with improved diagnostic systems and better healthcare technology, less people are slipping through the cracks resulting in long waiting lists for services.
Government funding has not kept up with this increase so the Association relies heavily on fundraising to prop up its programs.
