About Scope

Scope is a not-for-profit organisation providing disability services that positively impact the daily lives of thousands of Victorian children and adults. Scope�s mission is to support people with a disability to achieve their potential in welcoming and inclusive communities.

Scope provides a range of services including therapy & psychology support, supported accommodation, personal and carer support, access and participation support, individual planning and brokerage, the community together with Business Enterprises.

Therapy and psychology support

Scope provides therapy, psychology and related services to children and adults with a disability, their families and organisations in the community. The team consists of therapists (occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and speech pathologists), children�s services and education professionals and specialists in community inclusion.

Supported accommodation

Scope provides both short and long-term supported accommodation for people with a disability. Accommodation includes long-term supported accommodation, respite accommodation and transition accommodation.

Personal and carer support

Scope provides personal and carer support to assist people with a disability both in their home and community. It includes the purchase of items that will assist with independent living.

Access and participation support

Scope provides support for people with a disability to access and participate in their communities and activities of their choice. Programs include skill building, education and vocation support, inclusion support and leisure recreation and social activities.

Individual planning and brokerage

Scope provides assistance for people with a disability to plan, facilitate, coordinate and broker their individualised-funding packages. These include Individual Support Packages (ISP), planning and facilitation support, ISP management and the Brokerage Program.

The community

Scope provides services and activities which facilitate the inclusion of people with a disability into the community. Scope builds the capacity of service providers to support people with a disability, providing training, consultancy, networks, partnerships, products and resources.

Business Enterprises

Scope provides people living with a disability with supported employment as well as providing pathways for people with a disability into open employment.
