Australian Film Television & Radio School
The Australian Film Television & Radio School [AFTRS] is the national centre of excellence in professional education and training for the film, broadcasting and new media industries. The School provides a full-time program of post graduate film and TV courses, a full-time Graduate Diploma in Commercial Radio Broadcasting, various full-time certificate courses and a national short course program in all areas of film and broadcast production.
The School has strong links with the film and broadcast industries and course development is heavily influenced by their identified needs. Members of the AFTRS governing council and teaching staff comprise leading professionals, thereby ensuring training is at the level of industry standard practice. As a result we can report that over 90% of our graduates gain full-time employment within the industry.
