Established in 1945, Baptcare has provided a number of high quality residential and community care programs and services for older Australians regardless of their faith, monetary, cultural or lifestyle backgrounds, for 60 years. Baptcare owns and operates six residential aged care facilities and offers many more older Australians and their carers a range of services via day centres, day therapy centres and community care programs.
Baptcare Family Services, Baptcare's Family Services Division, provides a wide range of innovative programs to families, children and youth in Melbourne�s western and northern suburbs. Carefully researched and planned services and programs, combined with the highest of quality staff, ensure that Baptcare Family Services works hard to meet the needs of the community and to give the families, children and youth it helps, every opportunity to grow, develop and succeed.
Baptcare's Sanctuary facility offers affordable housing for male asylum seekers, in partnership with Hotham Mission Asylum Seeker Project and Brunswick Baptist Church. Sanctuary demonstrates the viability of care in the community for asylum seekers as an alternative to detention.
