Australian Relief & Mercy Services Ltd (ARMS)
Australian Relief & Mercy Services Ltd (ARMS) is a small Australian charity involved in serving the poor and the needy both with in Australia and overseas.
ARMS has offices in Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, Townsville, Adelaide and Sunshine Coast.
Within Australia ARMS provides counselling and assistance for families in need, food parcels, and works amongst the homeless.
Overseas ARMS provides child sponsorships for children in poverty, works with refugees and displaced persons, has established Primary Health Care Clinics and provides medical teams to communities that have little or no access to medical care. We also provide medical resources to ujnder resourced hospitals that are caring for the poor and needy. ARMS also offers limited funding to projects amongst the poor. We are also training people to work with the poor.
We also train and send teams to disaster relief situations.
Donations towards the work of ARMS are tax deductible.
Tax deductibility is also available to donors in the US and in Canada.
